I am researching the following surnames: Allman, Hudson, Circle, Russell, Davis, Locey, Pettit, Buchanan, Scott, Cooper. Most of the above were from the West Virginia, Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky area. I am interested in the West Virginia coal mines, Civil War, Revolutionary War, and Pioneer life as it pertained to that area and how it affected my ancestors. Looking for the parents of Jesse Allman, b.1804, Pa, Unknown Circle from Mason Co. WV. who fathered my great grandfather, but was not married to his mother, Sarah Jane Davis. Also, looking for ancestors of Ross Buchanan and his wife ? Petit.
