The Almy Family:

Besides my two children the only "Almy" I am related to is my dad. That's why I'm researching my dad's family in hopes of finding out what their real last name was.

The surnames I am researching on my mother's side are: Tavares, Almeida and Souza. On my father's side: Goulart and possibly Thomas. The other name I believe could be Almas. All of the people came from the Azores. Most from Sao Miguel and one possibly from Pico.

The Reynolds Family:

The surnames from Mark's side of the family that I am researching are: Reynolds, Damanche, Labonte, Gray, Head, Brownell, Murray, Norton and Pierce. I haven't done much research with this side of the family, but I have found that some of these people came from Ireland and Canada.
