I am researching an Alpen family that migrated to Australia from Germany, the name associated with the Alpen branch are, Laurence/Lorenze Alpen who settled in Australia arrived approximately 1864 on the Beausite the ship sailed from Hamburg.
Some Family connections in Germany are Clause Alpen, Frederich Alpen, Anna Mohr,
Lorenz Abraham, Katherine Lammerts, Eliesabeth Abraham.
I would be extremely pleased to hear from someone that has any Knowledge or connections.

Catherine Heffernan came to Australia with 3 Brothers John, Patric, William Heffernan.

Harriet married Lorenz Alpen
