| I'm currently researching both sides of my family history. My paternal grandfather, Pasquale Altobelli, came to America about 1909 from Sora, Italy. He settled in Leominster, Massachusetts and married Donata Tocci. I have not made much progress in getting at their Italian roots. On the other hand I've made significant headway on my mother's side due to material she had saved and research I've done on the Internet. Her maiden name is Boudreau. I've traced this line back to a Michel Boudrot who arrived from La Rochelle, St. Jean, Cougnes Parish, France in the early 1600's. Prior to that I've made no progress. On her mother's side, Poulin, I've traced back to a Paschal Poulain in the late 1500's or early 1600's. He was originally from St. Maclou de Rouen Normandie, France.
