Jacques-Rene underwent a name change to “Aaron Denio” as a result of living with his grandparents, John Stebbins, Jr. and Dorothy Alexander in Deerfield, MA. Child of DAVID REA and HELEN CLARK is: WILLIAM WASHINGTON REA, b. 25 Jul 1854, Charlotte, NC. WILLIAM WASHINGTON REA was born 25 Jul 1854 in Charlotte, NC. He married INEZ KATHERINE CAREY, daughter of CYRUS CAREY and BETSEY SMITH. She was born 29 May 1858 in Harvard, IL, and died in Porterville, CA. Child of WILLIAM REA and INEZ CAREY is: WILLIAM GARDELL REA, b. 31 Aug 1880, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, CA; d. 1951, Bakersfield, CA. He married (1) ESTHER EVELYN DENIO Oct 1910 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, CA, daughter of GALEN DENIO and MARY BACON. She was born 10 Sep 1891 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, CA, and died 31 Jul 1937 in Bakersfield, CA. (2) ANN STEWART. William Gardell Rea and Esther Evelyn Denio are parents of my mother. Currently there are 3 living children; 2 children are deceased. ************************************************** CAREY SIDE: C.M. Carey from North Carolina who married Betsy Fidelia from Illinois. From this line, My great grandmother Inez Catherine Carey was born. I am currently research this lineage and would appreciate any help others may provide. ************************************************ PARSONS SIDE: Louise LaCroix who was born in Canada, and probably died in Montana. She married a man with the surname of "Parsons". One of her sons was named Frank Edmond Parsons. He was born in 1886, and married my paternal Grandmother, Mildred Gunther. John Gunther who married Emma Weichtre. Both were from Germany. They had a son named Joseph Charles Gunther, also born in Germany in 1880. Emma and her children emigrated from Germany when Joseph Charles was a child. Emma's husband, John, never came to America to be with his family. He died in Germany. Joseph Gunther was Mildred Gunther's father. Louisa Mueller who married a man with the surname of "Floto". They had a daughter named Linda Louise Floto, who was born in 1880. Linda Louise Floto married Joseph Gunther and gave birth to my paternal Grandmother, Mildred Gunther. *********************************************** I am always updating my information and would appreciate any help others may provide regarding corrections and additions. |
