The family line that I'm tracing is James Altom(Alton) that was from Tenneesse then moved to Ill. with his wife and 8 children in about 1818, in Clinton County. James Altom was born around 1790 and died in 4 Dec. 1840 in Franklin Co.,MO. Hope to be adding new information to this page has I learn more.
