His sons Daniel and Johannes emigrated to Philadelphia in 1749 and 1752 respectively. From there they located in Lancaster Co, PA, Franklin Co, VA and then into Dayton, OH, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas and Illinois. Most of the current Altices can trace their lineages back to Daniel and Jacob Altick who remained in Virginia after their father, Johannes Franziskus (John Altick) moved to the Dayton Ohio area.
