I am the first-born son of Roy Alvin Ambers and Anna Ruth Hill. Roy was born in Casey Co., Ky. or Cumberland Co., Tn., the first born of Benjamin Harris Ambers of Cumberland Co., Tn., the son of Mattie O'Mary of Wailstation, Fentress Co., Tn., and Grief Ambers, apparently of Fentress County, Tennessee, and Benjamin's wife Isabell Patton of Casey Co., Ky., or Cumberland Co., Tn., the daughter of John Patton and Mary Judd of Crossville, Cumberland Co., Tn. Anna Ruth is the daughter of William Wallace Hill and Anna Belle Barnard of Nelson Co., Ky. William is the son of James Harrison Hill and Lilly Bell Bird. Anna Belle is the daughter of John Morgan Barnard and Fronie Alice Bowman. John's mother's name was Carrie, Fronie is the daughter of Frederick Bowman and Lucy Jane Holt.

My only child is Christopher Dale Ambers, born February 22nd, 1968, at Fort Gordon, Georgia (Augusta). He married Malinda Walker of Campbellsville (Taylor County), Kentucky, They had a daughter, Kirsten Annabell Ambers, born August 22nd, 1993. Their family currently resides in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
