Aamboe Family Home Page

The Aamboe name comes from Norway. Named after the name of the Aamboe farm located in Orsta. From my understanding Andreas Kolbeinsen Aambo moved from Norway to Des Moines Iowa. His son, John Arnold Wesley Aamboe later moved to Alberta as a homesteader with his sister Lena. After settling, he invited his father to join him in Canada.
