Eames/Ames Family Home Page

Welcome to the Eames/Ames ancestral Home Page! I have been and am currently researching the Eames family which emigrated to Massachusetts in the early 1600s and who were descendants of Thomas Eames and Millicent Brewster of Fordington St. George, Dorset Co., England.

Thomas, b. 1548 and died 25 June 1618, married Millicent in 1576 in Fordington, Dorset and they had seven(possibly eight) children, of whom Anthony, b.1596 was probably the best known and most documented.

I am compiling all information about Thomas and Millicent's descendants that I can gather for inclusion in a future published volume of this family. I am interested in all vital records and documents(wills, land deeds, etc.)that anyone may already have collected and can submit to me for this project.

I will be willing to share information about this family and all related descendants with anyone who shares the same lineage.
