He was in the Revolutionary War. Captain Stevers (Stivers) First Company of the Second Battalion, of Haycock Township. It is recorded in the Associators & Militia of the County of Bucks, Book Series III, volume 6, page 28 as having paid to Andrew Kachline Esq. for non-attendance upon exercise in the spring of 1780. Also served under Captain Manus Yost, 1st Foot regiment, Bucks Co. Militia Co. |
