Researching the surnames Amos, Reed, Silvers, Hammins, Yager, Turner, Livingston, McGown, Peters and Paxton in Texas, Californa, Oklahoma, Illinois, Kansas, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Australia. New to this and don't have much information yet. James Amos was born in Illinois and both his parents where from Kentucky, James and his wife Alice my Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother where both from Illinous. They had 6 children Myrtle born Dec. 1886 in Kansas. Maud born July 1888 in Kansas. Clarence born Dec. 1890 in Oklahoma. Emmet my grandfather born 1895 in Oklahoma. Rosa M. born Apr. 1897 in Oklahoma. And the youngest Mable Ann, Who I have no dates yet but was also born in Oklahoma. The Other parts of my family I havn't started researh on yet. Only been doing this since 6/8/1999.
