1. JOHN1 BOOTH He married ELSPETH MILLER 21 January 1823 in Aberdeen, daughter of ALEXANDER MILLER and ISOBEL KAY. She was born 19 October 1788 in Bellie, Moray, and died 8 November 1862 in Aberdeen.

I, George Mortimer, Assistant Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages in the District of St. Nicholas in the Burgh of Aberdeen, do hereby certify that the death of Mrs. Elspet Booth of 106, George Street, was duly registered by me on the 8th day of November 1862.

On the 26th day of January 1823. John Booth in the Parish of Banchory and Elspet Miller in the Parish of Old Machar signified their purpose in Marriage, by Mr. Wm. Bathgate, Elder; and were Thrice Proclaimed, they being Married on the Twenty First day of January, Eighteen Hundred and Twenty Three Years, by Mr. Ch. Whitfield, Minister.
