I am researching the Anderson family from Kingsport, Tn and the Byrds of North Wilksboro, NC, and the Collins of Wise, VA. In addition I would like to find my great grandfather, William Earnest Bowers. He was from PA, and is a mystery to us. My great grandmother, Can Sadie Jackson was married several times and Mr. Bowers was one of her husbands as was John Fowler.
This information has been obtained directly from family members as best as we can remember. Some information regarding Creed Collins and family was found on the internet and has not be certified as fact. This is the best I could do to put together a family tree as factual as possible. Though some listings are incomplete, this is a work in progress and may be added to. Use this information with consideration and caution as some facts have not been checked.

This is an old photo of my beloved grandparents, Linda Jane Collins Anderson and husband, Charles Clint Anderson. This photo was supplied by my cousin, Linda and greatly appreciated as I had no pics of them together. They lived in Kingsport, TN at the time of their death and had lived there for many years. Granny and Grandpa are sorely missed, but left a large legency of loving people that I am proud to call, my family. We had always heard they both had "indian" heritage, but this is yet to be proved. Don't they look like they are "indian!"
