  Ann was born at sea enroute to Canada. She married George Johnston April 1, 1851 at Rupert, Que. Ann is my great grandmother
• Uncle Willy's house - son of Matthew Sterns Brooks (15 KB)
  William James and his family lived in this house nearby the "red house" at Low, Quebec that was occupied by my Great Grandfather Matthew Sterns Brooks' family. Both these homes and the farms are now owned by the Connolly Family.
• Jane (Jarvis) Siggs 1819-1905 (58 KB)
  Jane (Jarvis) Siggs is my third great grandmother and she is shown here with my grandmother, who is her great grandaughter, Lula May (Thompson) DeBoice. The Baby is Jarvis Thompson DeBoice who was the the first child of Albert & Lula May (Thompson) DeBoice.

  Aunt Annie is on the left side and I have not yet identified the woman on the right yet. This house no longer is red and no longer has the porch but is still standing in Low and is well looked after by the Connolly family.

  This photo is unique in that it was taken of Silas after he was deceased. This was a fairly common practice at that time. Silas is my second great grandfather. He was born a Quaker born in Vermont and raised his family with his wife Sarah Gregory near Pickering, Ont
