Welcome to my Family Home Page. I started this project in the summer of 2005. It has been great fun. For the most part the information is pretty reliable but I am sure that I will need to add a few things and make revisions. It is exciting to know my family has been in Canada for such a long time.
Website on Lalonde history. e.g. http:/web.uvic.ca/-lalonde/history/history/.html etc.
Most of the Andre family names prior to Noel contain the dit name St. Amand likely started in the army. For a good explanation of dit names check out the www.association-gauthier.org/anglais/dita.html site, they give a pretty good explanation. Also Andre family name includes accent butI am unable perform this function with my keyboard.
I hope you enjoy this site and come back regularly. I plan to continue making corrections and alterations as I go, hopefully adding more new information. Please feel free to e-mail at the address provided.
