I have the following information about my father's family, but have not been able to locate any further information -

Carmen Ingeborg Lydia Harms born 11-9-1903 in Sanderahm, Germany
Hinrich Hajo Willms born 10-22-1903 in Sande, Germany (changed his name to Harry when immigrating to US at 18 yrs. old)

Carmen's Parents:
Magda Anna Dierks born 3-11-1881
Luppo Georg Harms born 6-13-1874

Hinrich's Parents:
Antke Margaretha Peters 4-1-1885
Siebelt Willms (zu Bitsch) born 6-28-1882

Magda's Parents:
Hillert Anton Dierks died 2-9-1920
Helene Christine Elise Kr(o/u)ger died June 11, 1892

Luppo's Parents:
Johann Harms
Catherine Ellerbrok

Places of birth and residency: Sanderahm, Sande, Sanderfuhlriege,
Rustringen (all in Germany)

Specific address: 59 Frederickenstrasse, Rustringen, Oldenburg, Germany

I believe an "uncle" Theodor Dirks (sp?) lived at 901 Divisadero Street in San Francisco, CA and came to the US in 1877. It has been said that he was the immigration sponsor for Carmen Harms.

I also have a great deal of information on my mother's side. Surnames include Zundel, Rasmussen, Pflueger, Forstner, Jensen, Abbott, Pettingill and Wood. Some lines go back to 1449.
