| I am researching the Wrisner family. They came from Tennessee. My grandfather, William "Willie" Franklin Wrisner was born in Manchester (Little Duck), Coffee County, TN in 1877. I don't know where they came from before that. His father was Franklin Wrisner and his mother was Sarah Myers. My grandfather also lived in Altamont, Grundy County, TN. He had a brother named Houston and a sister named Agnes. He married Margaret "Maggie" Jane Gilley, my grandmother. My dad was Cleburn Wrisner. He was born in 1907, where? I don't know. He died in 1966. He had 2 brothers: Frank and Rueben. He had three sisters: Gertrude, Anna Mae and Margie. Frank, Anna Mae and Margie are still living. I am also researching the McClenny family. My great grandfather was George McClenny, we think. They came from Alabama/Georgia. He married Mary Elizabeth Dortha Hood, my great-grandmother. They had 3 children: James "Bud" McClenny, Addie, and Florence Jewell. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I will share what information I have. |
