Dave & Linda's Combined Family Trees

The Families being researched through this home page settled in southwest Iowa in the mid to late 1800's, especially in Mills, Harrison and Monona counties. Prior to that time the Browning and Estes families were in Henry County, Kentucky and Daviess County, Kentucky respectively. Other surnames are Spracklin, Estes, Avitts, Anderson, Knutson, Gividen, Goss. Communities of interest are Woodbine, Glenwood, Malvern, Modale, Tabor, Missouri Valley, and Soldier - all in Iowa. In Kentucky, the family was located around Sligo and Sulphur.

In addition to the Browning Viney Delavan lines, we are also researching the Bryant Stroud Thomas lines that migrated from North Carolina through Webster County Kentucky and Eastern Indiana in the early 1800's. Townships pertaining to these families are Sebree and Hanson Kentucky as well as Evansville Indiana.
