* David L .Anderson Family History - Anderson's*

Updated March 26, 2011

I have researched the Anderson Family back to Baltimore Maryland. With marriages of my GGgrandfather Abraham Anderson and Elizabeth Veazey in 1801 in Orange County N. Carolina.
Abraham and his family migrated to Warren County Kentucky. Of the 11 children born to Abraham and Elizabeth only 2 of the sons William and his wife Diadam Dyer Anderson my Ggrandparents came to Missouri in 1828. Ira D. Anderson migrated 10 years later in 1838.

Abraham settled in Warren county Kentucky and remained there until death in 1838. He and Elizabeth are buried on the farm that was their home. I recently found the old cementery and have pictures of the graves/ tombstones of both Abraham (war of 1812 Veteran)and Elizabeth along with several of his children with husbands and sons wives graves. Stones are in deplorable shape as is the cementery. Cementery also in in delapidated, deporable condition. The current owner of the farm will not do anything to help with cutting brush and overgrowth.

Ahraham and Elizabeth Oldest son William H. Anderson, (my Ggrandfather)and his Wife Diadam Dyer Anderson migrated to Lafayette County Missouri in 1828. They were married in Warren County Kentucky in 1827 and the following year migrated to Missouri.
