| Researching Anderson(Florida and North Carolina), Jackson(Florida and South Carolina), Corson(Illinois,Pennsylvania,New Jersey), Cardott or Von Cardott(Illinois,Germany,France,Canada), Childs(Illinois,Wales,Isle of Man),Duffy(Missouri,California), Nelson(Goteborg,Sweden) Seeking to link my great-great-grandfather, William Swain Corson, to the Corson's of Cape May where he was born Dec 30, 1834. Also looking into the origins of the Cardott family which reportedly came from Alsace-Lorraine. My great-great-grandfather Stephen Anderson, whose true first name we do not have, and his brother Thomas came to St.Andrew's Bay, Florida from New Bern, NC in prior to the civil war. We are unable to link up with records in NC. My great-grandmother Anna Catherine Nelson came to America around 1880 from Goteborg, Sweden. |
