| I am currently attempting to trace my Mannino/Papa family history. My grandfather, David Mannino, married Helen Papa in 1931. His parents were Vito and Elisabetta Mannino. Elisabettas family surname may have been changed at Ellis Island from Geicchitans/Sciacchitano, or something similar, to Shikatino. My grandmothers parents were Michael Papa and Rose DAgostino. Michaels father was Innocente Papa from Naples, Italy. |
