I am researching both sides of my family in an attempt to find all the Indian connections.
First is the Hiram Finis Anderson, Sr and Susan Catheryn Davis. I have the Anderson side going back to John Anderson born Dec 1715 in Ireland married to Jean Jane who was born about 1720 also in Ireland. Susan Catheryn Davis we believe is the Indian connection. Her parents are Harley Davis & Isue Monoke. We can find on trace of either of these two people.
Second is the Benjamin Moore & Nancy Caroline Autrey. Nancy, we believe, is the Indian connection on the Moore-Autrey family. Nancy's parents are Mary Bohannon & Luke Autrey. Mary Bohannon's parents are Martha Dillard (b. 1825) and William Bohannon (b.1820). Martha Dillard's parents are Samuel Dillard (b. 1798) and Elizabeth Reid (b. 1799).
Although I do not have a lot of information, I would be willing to share what I have and hopefully you will too. Maybe between all of us working...we will soon find the connections to our past.
