Much of the information found came from "The Andersons from the Great Fork of the Patuxent." compiled by Cora Anderson DuLaney. The "Great Fork" refers to the joining of the Patuxent River with the Little Patuxent River located between Crofton and Bowie, MD just off of MD Route 3 and MD Route 450. A copy of the hand-typed booklet was donated by Clarence Anderson Gaylor, 09 Aug 1989, to Prince George's County Genealogical Society located on Tulip Grove Drive in Bowie, MD. There are many other families whose names were found during multiple searches of different branches. |
