The Eva Andretsos Family Home Page

I am searching for people from the following families: Zervos, Nick and Maria from the island of Karpathos, Greece. They came to America in 1912. They settled in West Virginia and had 10 children. These are my maternal grandparents.
My father was also from the island of Karpathos, Greece. His name was George Matthew Tsangarakis, and his parents were Matthew George Tsangarakis and Stamatina Makris. When my father, George, first came to America, the personnel at Ellis Island americanized his name from Tsangarakis to Sangerson, and he settled in West Virginia. He later settled his family in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. We lived there until 1967, when we moved to Denver, Colorado, where he passed away in 1980. He and my mother, Zoe Zervos Tsangarakis, had 3 children, Matthew George Tsangarakis (1936-1999), Mary Tsangarakis Mauries (1937- ) and Eva (Evangeline) Tsangarakis Andretsos (1939- ).

My husband George Nick Andretsos was born in Roumeli, Greece (1929-1988). When he imigrated to America he settled in Illinois where his sister, Ritsa Mihalopoulos lived, until he moved to Denver and we were married in 1968.

I would like to contact any persons from any of the family names listed above so that I can update my family tree and meet any members of my family that I have never met before.
