I am researching the Anderson, Eaton, Edwards, Holland, Mazy, Holt and Spain families. Most of the members have lived in Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina. The earliest member of the Anderson family is David Whitfield Anderson who lived in south Alabama (Dale and Crenshaw counties) in the 1870's and in Florida. The Edwards family lived in Tallassee, Alabama in the 1870's. The earliest member of the Mazy family is Thomas Frank Mazy who married Lula May Holland in Louisiana and lived in Louisiana, Alabama and middle Tennessee (Manchester, Coffee County). The earliest member of the Eaton family is William Eaton born in North Caroline in 1781 and died about 1854 in Tennessee (probably Coffee County). The earliest member of the Holt family is Ambrose Holt who lived in North Carolina and Tennessee. The earliest date for the Holt family is 1773. William Rice Spain was born about 1820 and was married to Matilda Ann Motes whose father was Jeremial Motes, born October 03, 1803 and died April 26, 1872.	*James L Anderson Family Home Page* Updated August 26, 2011
