My ancestors came from three churches in Norway. Rollag in Buskerud, Sor Fron in Gudbrandsdal and Klinga in Trondelag. They came to the US in the 1860's, 70's and 80's and eventually settled in Clay County in Minnesota. On the way they spent several years in southern Wisconsin and Northeastern Iowa. I have researched church and family histories from Norway and am now starting to fill in the relationships in this country. |
