| I am researching the HARGREAVES family from Bolton, Lancashire, England. My grandfather William Hargreaves was born on August 28, 1886 to William and Ellen (Burke) Hargreaves. He married Ellen Birtwistle. William came to the US in 1811, and Ellen followed him in 1812. I know that I am looking for 5 generations of Williams back from this point. I am also researching my gggrandfather Robert HUTCHISON of St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, born October 19, 1811 in northern Ireland. He married Mary Ann Christie on July 4, 1850 in St. John. Also, I am researching ggrandfather, William Hedley PITT. Married to Bella O. Thompson in New Brunswick, with two children, Ethel (b. 9/2/1898) and Hazel (b. 7/9/1896). |
