| I am on a continuing search for Caperton information. I am very interested in the Odom and Vinson connections to the Arkansas Capertons. The Odom family I am interested in came from Mississippi and settled in Arkansas. The Vinsons were in Arkansas and were of native american heritage. Could have been Cherokee and/or Choctow. Possible children of Indian slaves. Information on any of the above will be appreciated. Can share data currently being compiled from Bernard M. Caperton's book and other submitters to Family Tree Maker. Am editing and correcting entries made by others and comparing to The Caperton Family book. |
