Jackson and Lucenda Adcock were married 2/10/1852 in Montgomery, Alabama. they had 9 children. February 20,1923 Durant, Oklahoma Zebulon (Zeb/Boas/Boaz?) b. March 12,1860 William Thomas Ramsey b.1863 My GGrandfather Robert A. Jackson of Alabama, married Francis Virginia Gill b. 1858 Fayette County, Georgia they moved to Ashdown, Arkansas, along with a group of Gill's, and Adcock's. They had 5 children Mamie Robert Benjamin Jackson, b. Aug.25, 1888, in Ashdown or Hope,Arkansas. Boaz Mary William Marshall Benjamin came to Wade and Bennington, (Bryan County) Oklahoma in 1912 amd Married Anne May Beaty born May 8, 1898 in Oklahoma Indian Territory (near Brock, Oklahoma), on Sept. 10, 1913 in Wade, Okla. They had 11 children, Eula Alzada b. July 06,1914 Bennington, Oklahoma d. May 17,1944, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma George F. b. November 10,1917 Bennington, d. October 28,1938, Bennington George F. Jackson was my Dad. He married Jessie Alice Hamill 9/10/1941. She was born 8/28/1923 in Spencerville, Oklahoma. They had 5 childern Lenda Mae b, 02/02/1943 Bennington (me) Sandra Lee b. 11/17/1944 Wade, Oklahoma George Dwight b. 8/20/1946 Bennington, Oklahoma Freddie Lane b. 4/15/1948 Bennington, Oklahoma Joyce Dean b. 1/04/1950 Dallas, Texas I'm also researching the Beaty/Tate, Hamill/Trousdale, and Hamill/Dickerson family. All from Oklahoma The spelling of our name Hamill and Trousdale is very uncommon. |
