Eschelbach, Heidelberg, Baden, GERMANY TO KANSAS: Schuessler, Bender, Schrotel,Pennsylvania: Elizabeth Zigler born 1801, m.1820 Michael Reffner Bedford County, PA, b. abt. 1800.

SWEDEN (Vastergotland): Gudhem, Ugglum, & Østra Tunhem Parishes, Falkoping - all in Vastergotland, Sweden. Immigrated to Chicago in 1880s as Dahlstrom & Hallbeck. Eskelhem, Island of Gotland, Sweden: Immigrated to New Haven, CT in 1880s as Ledin and Olson. Jonkoping, Sweden: Andrew Anderson to San Francisco by 1868 naturalization, m. 1869 Julia Maria Thompson b. Hackney, England 1848.

DENMARK (b. 1864 Ballum Parish, near Tonder): Theodor Peter HANSEN.

ENGLAND: Lt. Col. George Forbes THOMPSON b. abt 1790,London, Royal Corps of Engineers, d. 1858 London. Married (1) Anna Catalina PLINCK in Gibraltar (2)Mary MCKEOGH b. in Ireland.

NORWAY: Anna Olsdatter Øiestad EYSTAD 1880s to Morris, Minnesota, as well as her 8 children.

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: Andrew Anderson (also Pescadero, San Mateo County (by 1865) and Sonoma County, CA). Lumberman/redwood shingle maker from Sweden. Naturalized SF 1868. Possible brother: Samuel Anderson.

MINNESOTA: Eystad & Gaarder, Morris, MN. Lee & Bjoraas in Chippewa Falls, WI.

IOWA: Isiah DEMERITT married Fannie I. MILLER 1870 in Dubuque County. Son: Robert Guy DeMeritt. Fannie married Lionel SAYRE in 1881, Pocahontas County. To Oregon by 1893.

INDIANA: William Pitcher m. Elizabeth Watkins 1831. Daughter Mary Ann Pitcher b. 1834, Bartholomew County m. Peter Reffner.

MISSOURI: John & Bersheba Russell, John Hancock Zumwalt & Sarah Merchant Russell. Sabrina Clay & Henry A. H. Russell.

NEW ENGLAND: Geer, Wolcott, Spofford, Kenyon Johnson, Cary, Peckham, Allyn, Downer.

NEVADA, UTAH: William & Amelia Davis 1880s, from Wales about 1850. Son Frederick Davis m. LuReta DeLonza.

OREGON: Davis, DeMeritt, Geer, Short, Zumwalt wagon trains 1847+.

PENNSYLVANIA: Short, Robert Valentine, McFarland (Allegheny County) 1792+. To Ohio and then Oregon by wagontrain 1850.

VERMONT: Major Gideon Ormsby

VIRGINIA: Cobbs, Able Jackson, Henry Jones, John Zumwalt m. Hannah Hancock Jones, Coonrod, Neale, Hancock1700+.
