Green County, Georgia Newspaper Clipping from Friday March 13, 1885:
"Mr. Warren Andrews, an aged and respected citizen of Greene County, and father of our townsman, Dr. L.M. Andrews, died at his residence on Monday morning last. He was buried at the cemetery at this place on Tuesday evening, after an impressive funeral discourse by Dr. J.H. Kilpatrick. Mr. Andrews was quite and old man, was born in 1803 and hence had lived beyond three score and ten."

Most of information on Warren comes from the 1850 US Census. It also states that Warren was a farmer and the value of his estate was $3000. His Father is from Va and his mother is from NC (where Warren was born). The 1850 census shows 7 children that included my great-great grandfather John V, who was 5 years old at the time. The 1860 census showed that Warren had two additional children with America, by the name of Marshal and Samantha.
