| I grew up in the mountains, where the people are varied in culture and heritage. I strive to find those mountain ancestors and their beginnings. These pages represent the ongoing endeavor to find my ancestors. As we are a part of each and every ancestor, to search and seek them out and finally, finding them, is not just experiancing joy in discovering who they were, but in who we are. My ancestral cultures are varied, from Germany to America, the United Kingdom, including Scotland, Ireland and Wales, from the Norman Invasion of England,and from the Native American Heritage including the Cherokee and the Virginia tribes from which my ancestors beckon. From the famous to the infamous, my search continues....I share with joy...my findings. |
