The Severino Home Page

Although my married name is Anglace (second marriage), my maiden name is Severino. That's why my home page is titled "Severino" rather than Anglace. I'm currently searching my family roots (Italian) and then I'll devote sometime to my husband's roots. Of course, my first marriage was to a "Blair" and I'll need to spend sometime searching those roots also for my children. Other names in my family background are Scarpati and Conte.
My mother grew up in North Bergen, New Jersey. I believe my father was from Weehawken, New Jersey (at least that's where his mother was living when she passed away). However, I remember my mother telling me that before she moved to New Jersey she lived in "Hell's Kitchen", New York. I hope to be visiting my mom soon and get more information from her. She'll be 90 this year, God bless her! and has a sharp mind.

It's just amazing once you start working on a tree how the branches spead out. I have roots in Italian heritage. My children have Italian heritage from me and Scotch and Swedish heritages from their father. My husband has Italian (his dad) and English (his mom) roots.

So let me start with Severino, Scarpati and Conte. One town in Italy I remember my mother mentioning as to where one my grandparents came from was Boca Tre Casa (I'm) not sure if the spelling is correct, but it "means three houses in the woods".
Any information would be greatly appreciated. As I found out more, I'll post it.
