Good Day. My name is Lelio (Leo) Angelantoni and live in Woodbridge ( Toronto ) Ontario, Canada. My wife's name is Jacqueline Laporte ( Laporta). She started researching her family some time ago with some interesting results. The first Laporta emigrated to Canada and moved to Alexandria, Ontario in...... Alexandria was a french trading centre therefore the name was changed to Laporte. So far as I know the Angelantonj's ever came to North America until the writer in 1953, although we found some Angelantoni's in the USA.
