Just before Christmas 1999, I decided to start researching both my family tree and my husband's family tree so that we would one day be able to tell our children where they came from. At that time, my son, Brian Patrick, was 15 months old. Brian has grown by leaps and bounds and is now a bright and inquisitive 9 year old. Each day, we hope that he is as exhausted and fulfilled as we are. In the meantime, we welcomed his sister, Bailey Elizabeth, into the world on March 12, 2001. She is now almost 7 and is every bit as beautiful and wonderful as her brother and we could not feel more blessed. As for the tree, it now has over 4600 names in it. I think the bulk of them come from Brian and Bailey's paternal grandmother but I've also been able to add a lot of names from his maternal grandmother's branches. On Brian and Bailey's paternal side, the most common surnames are Annan, Hebert, and Brown fka Braun. On Brian and Bailey's maternal side, the most common surnames are Strauss, Martini, Woods, Bailey, Stussi and Domstrick. |
