I am researching the following families:
My father's family:
Anthony, Meinerding, Leifeld, Grothjan, Weis, Roemer.

Grothjan's from Celina, OH (Mercer County): My grandmother was Agnes Claudine Grothjan born in 1884. She had three brothers (Harold, Jerome and Cletus)and two sisters (Eulalia and Lucille). Harold, Jerome and Lucille died in the 1930's. I believe that Eulalia married into the Smalley family.


My mother's family:
Jordan, Lewis, Butcher, Flesher, Cherry, McNeill.

My grandfather was the only one to have children. Through the Jordan branch I am related to the Lewis' (Lewis County, WV was named after the family) as well as the Butcher family.

Cherry's from New York: My grandmother was Helen Jean Cherry born 1905. She had one brother James Raphael Cherry Jr. who married Vivian Vernon (unk if actual last name). Vivian Vernon was a Ziegfield Folly. Their mother was Helen Jane McNeill born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1876. Helen Jane's father was Alfred McNeill and her mother was Bridget Drummond. They were married June 24, 1869, EnnisKillen, Ireland.

I am willing to share information although at this time it is sketchy at best.
