Although my search is long from being over and I have found great pleasure in locating some of my roots. In a small way I have tried to become accqaiunted with some of my family that has long ago left this world. I do still have the pleasure of knowing, loving, and talking with my only living connection to my dead ancestor's on the Griffin side. Her name is Anna May Griffin, although all of her family members knew her as Mike, she was born in 1912. She has been of invaluable help to me, in bringing these family members to life with her superb and still sharp memory. Anyone who is related to me through the Griffin side should feel free to write to me with any questions they might have. I will be sure to get in touch with her and relay to her your thoughts. She has many personal family memories that you will not find on the census records.
Sadly we lost our grandmother Ann "Mike" Griffin, September 25, 2003. She was a very special person and will be greatly missed.
