Find Family
This is a huge, proven family tree which links probable Viking ancestry from North Yorkshire with Scottish ancestry, Irish sources from the Derryvreen valley in County Cork, and mystifying connections with Portugese names in Lincolnshire.
The total tree has currently 700 names, the majority being in support of the family Appleby.
A circumstantial pedigree in Plantaginet Harrison stretches from 1120 to 1600AD, and this links to a fully proven pedigree which extends from 1580 to the present. The Appleby family is thus traced from North Yorkshire to Newcastle upon Tyne.
This history is accompanied by maps, wills and even a bill of sale for land in 1687.
