Notes for Thomas Spurdans: Thomas is a widower at time of his marriage to Margaret. She was buried on October 3, 1805 age 68, (then a widow) Therefore she was 46 when she married him. If Thomas was a similar age I suspect that he was in fact from the previous generation.
A Thomas Spurdens appears as a witness to a marriage in 1786 - possibly this Thomas or his son?
