John Archer (son of John Archer and Mary Holmes) was born Bef. 1790, and died 1813 in Chesham, Bucks.

 Includes NotesNotes for John Archer:
I am assuming that a person who wrote a Will by the name of "John Archer Junior" naming as sole beneficiary his father, "John Archer Senior" was a son of the John Archer who is clearly part of the Family Tree. In view of the fact that the will was probated at exactly the same time as that of Rebecca Archer, who was certainly John's daughter, it does suggest a relationship. I have no evidence concerning "John Archer Junior" other than the Will. Here is the text of the Will:

In the name of God. Amen

I, John Archer the Younger, of Chesham in the County of Bucks, Shoemaker, being of perfect mind and memory, do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say that I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved father, John Archer the Elder of Chesham aforesaid, Baker, all my Goods, Money, Bills, Bonds, Notes of Hand, Legacies and Book Debts, and also all my wearing apparel of any description, together with all other properties of what kind or nature soever they may be to me any way appertaining at the Time of my Decease. And I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint the said John Archer the Elder to be the whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, and I do hereby utterly revoke, disallow and disannul all former Bequests, Wills and Legacies by me heretofore in any wise left or made, declaring, ratifying and confirming that this and no other to be my last Will and Testament.

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty-first day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and two.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the (????) named John Archer the Younger to be his last will and testament in the presence of us, who subscribed our names in the presence of the said Testator and each other. (Signed by -) Benjamin Payne and George (????) (and also signed by) John Archer Junior.
