| The year 2001 will be history making in our family. A new Grandaughter (Abigale Elizabeth Kuklinski)has joined the family tree. This year also promises 2 weddings. Significant family events always add to the pleasure of geneology. I was fortunate to know many of my GREAT GRAND PARENTS. Not every child will be that lucky. My Mom and all of my aunts and uncles are still around, so now is the time to record the family history. I owe many thanks to my favorite Aunt Jean for getting me interested in Geneology. All of the Lewis family research can be attributed to her. Uncle David, my favorite uncle, researched the Riel family. Much of the information on the Carle family came from Yvonne Leveque Steer and George Steer of Canada. Other information was gathered from Grandma Girard and Aunt Helen while they were still alive, and from family Bibles they had. Much of the information has been documented or supplemented from census data. I hope this will help others in their search for family. |
