CHRISTOPHER BRIAN ARKWRIGHT FAMILY HISTORY

I am researching the ARKWRIGHT and SCHOFIELD family histories.

In the Arkwright family I have details back to a JOHN ARKWRIGHT born circa 1545 in Claughton, Garstang, Lancashire and to a WILLIAM HUGHES born 1841 in Gaerwen, Anglesey, Wales.

In the Schofield family I have details to HENRY SCHOFIELD born circa 1852 in Newchurch, Pendle, Lancashire and to a DAVID CHALMERS born 1840 in Scotland,although his descendants were born in Lancashire.

My particular area of interest is of the connection between the ARKWRIGHT and MANBY-COLEGRAVE family. In 1869 MARY ELLEN ARKWRIGHT born 1843 in Blackburn Lancashire married WILLIAM RICHARD MANBY-COLEGRAVE born 1840 in Ireland. They had 2 children, William J. born 1871 in France and who attended St.Mary’s RC Boarding School in Woolwich and Helen Mary who went onto to join the Ursuline Order of Nuns in Belgium. The family spent quite some time in the Folkstone area of Kent. I would dearly like to find what became of WILLIAM J MANBY-COLEGRAVE and if he had any descendants.
