In November of 2000 I was given a Family Tree Maker program disk by a friend.I have become very interested in mapping our family tree.I'd like to enlist the help of all who'd care to share.Doesn't have to be a full time passion, just pass on your own immidiate family information so I can put together a better report. My primary interests are Armstrong, Morehead, Wright and Shaw.I have a line going back from Morehad to Shaw of the early 1700's.And Armstrong back through Wrights to the early 1800'sI would like to gather as much information from as many branches as I can.I have around 1000 people in the tree so far. I would like to include as much personal info as anyone would care to share.Of course dates and places of births, deaths, marriages, divorces and burials are most important. But education, military service, christening and baptismal, immigration, trades and professional pursuits will enhance the content greatly.I try to include at least two generations from anyone marrying into the family. This makes for accuracy when cross referencing. A scrap book is associated with each member in the tree.If anyone would like to send school photos or memorabelia I'll gladly scan it into the scrap books.I promise to take care with them and will return any photos etc. within a week and digital media can be e-mailed to me.I' like to get at least one photo from everyone in the tree.Any photos from older generations and family shots are extremely appreciated. I intened on making CD copies of the project and send them to anyone who's interested.I will send family reports to anyone who'd like to check for accuracy and would value second help to varify the entries.I may be contacted at the postal address or e-mail address of this page and my home phone is there too, it's an italian number. Just dial 001 and the number from the states, remember the time difference though. Thanks everyone.Bryan |
