Robert Armstrong ( Bob) moved from Red Oak Iowa to Oakley Kansas where he ranched until his death.
He was a large man for the Armstrong clan and was always the cordial host. One could count on a supper of beefsteak and all the trimmings when you stopped to visit. Uncle Bob loved to load everyone up in his new Chrysler car and whisk you through the pastures with the speed of a good Quarter horse , while Aunt Kate prepared supper. It was always a pleasurable experience stopping at the Robert Armstrong's' Ranch.
