Reed Armstrong was a well known Racehorse Trainer and farmer in the Foss Okla. area He was in the Land Run into Okla. in1891 and filed on a farm north of Foss. Reed and his wife Nancy Meeks, the daughter of a buffalo hunter, lived on their homestead until their deaths.
Reed Armstrong wore a white shirt and a tie most everyday of his life. He often slept in his shirt and tie and would leave the tie on and put on a clean shirt without ever removing it
