Notes for Elizabeth A. O'Neil: Did you know that the cemetery at Trinity was filled with paper, ashes and debris from the World Trade Center explosion. The church is about a block from Ground Zero. Both Trinity and St. Paul's Chapel survived the 9/11 (2001, when terrorists' two planes hit the WTC) disaster. Both are incredible churches. It's a very interesting cemetery in the heart of the Financial District. In fact, Wall Street dead ends at Trinity Church. There is another Trinity Cemetery (overflow problem, I'm sure) affiliated with this chuch on the Upper West Side.
By the way, here's a great website for LI genealogy: http://www.longislandgenealogy.com/
All my best, Philip (Vail List) Mar. 2002
A note on the bottom of a letter is from Fred Bruns, who was gathering information from Peggy Bruns, dau. of Carl Bruns, Jr.
This appears to be the same Elizabeth who is with Joseph in the 1870 census. It is possible that the census taker got the age incorrect in 1880.
