The Arnold Family Home Page

I have been researching my grandparent's ancestry for a while. My grandfather's name was Ora Overton Arnold. He was born in Scottville, Macoupin County, Illinois on December 6, 1885. I don't have his mother's maiden name, but her first name seems to have been Elizabeth H. or Martha? His father's name was James William Arnold, also born in Illinois in August,1856. The 1900 census lists both James W.'s parents born in Tennessee. I have not yet been able to make the connection back to TN nor have I been able to find out how many siblings or names, etc., James W. had.
I'm trying to locate any relatives of my grandfather's siblings who may have additional information. He had about 6 siblings, I only know that there were brothers, George, Noah and sisters, Delia and possibly a Martha. All were born in the 1880's.

Ora O. Arnold, my grandfather, was married to Stella May Bilger, born May 1887 in Roodhouse, Greene County, Illinois. Her father's name was Joseph Bilger born July 1839 in Ohio. Stella's mother was Tacy Elizabeth Sponsler, born MAY 1848 in Ohio. I have not been able to locate the Ohio connection or my grandmother's siblings. I know that she had a brother, Jesse. Jesse's wife was Meda ? and son Wayne.
