Interested in finding the Ireland location of McBarron and/or Deasey families. James McBarron came to New York, landing January 1851, age 18. I suspect that the James McBarron on the Elizabeth Bentley, listed at age 8, is really 18 as he was traveling with Thomas Fitzgerald, also on that ship. Per oral family history James and Thomas are first cousins. His naturalization papers state he is from Enniskillen, Fermanagh, Ireland. Patrick Deasey arrived in the UAS about 1845. He had a brother, Simon, who served in the Civil War. They settled in Trenton, NJ. Patrick moved to California. Simon's army papers state he was from Cork, Ireland.
