Toliver J. Arrowood (son of Jeremiah Arrowood and Judith (Arrowood))^{56, 57} was born April 1832 in Murphy, North Carolina (Rutherford County), and died 11 September 1913. He married Sarah A. Arrowood on 1856, daughter of Benjamin W. Arrowood and Vaida Kelly.
